Big Time JDM Warranty and Sales Policy

At Big Time JDM, we are committed to providing top-quality JDM engines and parts. To ensure customer satisfaction, we offer warranties on select products and outline our sales policies clearly. Please review the following details on our warranty coverage and sales terms.

Engine Warranty

Big Time JDM offers a 60-days  warranty on all used JDM engines. The warranty is effective from the date of delivery and covers the engine’s internal components only. If the engine does not function properly within the warranty period, we will replace the defective engine with another similar unit, subject to availability.

Warranty Coverage Includes:

  • Engine block
  • Cylinder head(s)
  • Pistons
  • Crankshaft
  • Camshafts
  • Rocker arms
  • Oil pump

Warranty Does NOT Cover:

  • Electrical components (such as sensors, wiring harnesses, and ECU)
  • Transmission (if sold separately)
  • Gaskets and seals (these should be replaced prior to installation)
  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or neglect
  • Any labor, towing, or additional parts required for installation or removal
  • Damage due to overheating, lack of oil, or insufficient maintenance
Conditions of Warranty

To ensure warranty eligibility, the following conditions must be met:

  • The engine must be installed by a certified mechanic or repair shop.
  • Proper maintenance (including oil changes, fluid levels, etc.) must be documented.
  • Any damage due to overheating, misuse, or improper installation will void the warranty.
Transmission Warranty

For automatic and manual transmissions, we offer a 60-days warranty covering internal components only. This warranty does not cover external parts such as torque converters, sensors, or mounts. Customers must ensure that the transmission is installed by a certified mechanic and flushed with new fluids prior to use.

Return Policy on Warranty Claims
In the event of a warranty claim, Big Time JDM reserves the right to request that the defective item be returned for inspection. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is deemed defective by us. If a replacement unit is not available, we will issue a refund based on the original purchase price, minus shipping fees.
Sales Policy
  • All sales are final once the product is shipped. We do not accept returns unless the item qualifies under our warranty policy.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct engine or part is ordered. We strongly advise verifying compatibility with your vehicle before placing an order.
  • Custom or special-order items are non-refundable and not covered under our return policy.
Void Warranty

The following conditions will void any warranty provided:

  • Engine or transmission was disassembled or modified.
  • Improper installation or lack of documentation proving professional installation.
  • Overheating or running the engine without proper lubrication.
  • Racing, off-roading, or any other high-stress use not recommended for stock parts.
Shipping Costs

Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs related to warranty claims, exchanges, and returns unless otherwise specified by Big Time JDM.
